Job summary

Envoy Mortgage is seeking a proactive Loan Originator in California to originate residential mortgage loans and develop relationships with real estate agents, buyers and referral partners. You will collaborate with processing, underwriting and management to keep loan files moving smoothly.

We provide strong support, technology and a competitive commission structure for a non-exempt, full-time role that emphasizes customer service, regulatory compliance and production goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Loan Originator, LOA or Processor; 5+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and processes.
• NMLS license required or able to obtain within 30–90 days.
• Strong communication andexcellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; familiarity with origination systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote Envoy's mortgage products to real estate agents, buyers and referral sources.
• Prospect and procure new loan applications from potential referral sources.
• Educate borrowers on programs they qualify for and ensure compliance.
• Maintain data and documents in the origination system and monitor loan status.
• Coordinate with processing, underwriting and management to move loans forward.
• Gather required information and disclosures with processing and underwriting.
• Present complete files for approval and manage multiple files concurrently.
