Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate mortgage loans in an assigned market, take applications, and submit to processing and underwriting.

You will follow up to secure documents and will spend at least 50% of time away from bank locations, engaging in sales activities and loan solicitations. The role requires NMLS registration, a high school diploma, and 3+ years in mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z; ongoing compliance with registration requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three or more years of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned market
• Take applications and submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval
• Follow up to secure documents for processing, underwriting and closing
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations; sales-related activities
