U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned non-bank territory. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting, and submit for approval while ensuring timely document collection for processing and closing.

The role includes extensive away-from-location sales activity, with at least 50% of time spent outside U.S. Bank offices. Required: NMLS registration, SAFEs Act compliance, and a high school diploma; 2+ years in Mortgage, Sales, or Real

Qualificações

• NMLS registration and regulatory compliance as required by SAFEs Act and Regulation Z.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follow up to secure documents for processing, underwriting and closing.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting sales activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
