Job summary

Honor Credit Union in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator to join our local market and branches. You will help members secure mortgage loans and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of loan processing and sales experience, knowledge of credit policies, and a passion for building relationships. This is a full-time role with SAFE Act compliance, events involvement, and community outreach to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business or related field preferred.
• Must be or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number.

Responsibilities

• Work in the local market, events, and branches to meet business needs.
• Assist members with mortgage loan originations and sales activities while delivering excellent service.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration and ensure compliance in all loan activities.
