Qualifications

• Two years mortgage lending experience required.
• Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
• Familiar with residential mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
• Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
• Established local referral sources and an existing mortgage sales record.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a competitive environment and achieve sales targets.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration (NMLS) required at employment.

Responsabilités

• Develop referral contacts with realtors, builders, and professionals.
• Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company policies and procedures.
• Know loan products, processing procedures, underwriting and guidelines.
• Follow escalation protocol for exceptions.
• Take applications by completing Fannie Mae 1003 on the laptop.
• Use laptop to access rates, credit reports, Loan Prospector, and transmit to LOMAS.
• Collect documents and deliver loan packages within management timeframes.
• Manage pipeline through closing and complete required reports.
• Communicate updates to branches and applicants.
• Maintain high levels of customer service for applicants and staff.
• Attend Consumer Lending meetings as required.
