Placements24 is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to join their client in Welkom. You will guide clients from inquiry to closing, generating new loan business and building referral networks.

You will advise on mortgage products, collect documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain relationships with real estate agents and other referral sources. The role offers a hybrid work environment with a competitive base plus commission.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a similar sales role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain a strong pipeline of business.
• Proficiency in loan origination software and relevant technology.
• Valid certification or license as required for mortgage origination in South Africa.

• Generate new mortgage loan applications through proactive lead generation, networking, and client relationship management.
