• Originate residential loans per lending policies and applicable regulations.
• Educate customers on loan products, requirements, and application steps.
• Manage mortgage pipeline with timely follow-up and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential real estate loans in accordance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop new business through referrals, Realtors, builders, attorneys, and community relationships.
• Interview applicants, gather required documentation, and evaluate financial information to identify appropriate mortgage solutions.
• Educate customers regarding available loan products, program requirements, and the mortgage application process.
• Manage a pipeline of mortgage applications while ensuring timely follow-up and customer service throughout the lending process.
• Partner with processing and operations staff to facilitate efficient loan processing and resolve outstanding conditions.
• Maintain market awareness, including economic trends, housing activity, and competitive factors that impact mortgage lending opportunities.
• Foster strong relationships with internal partners and external referral sources while promoting a positive and professional image of the bank.
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.
