Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior Mortgage Loan Officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and determine qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintain contact with loan customers and communicate loan progress.
• Structure loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develop detailed marketing plans and build a network of potential and existing customers; establish contact frequency.
• Make sales calls to develop or retain business per Regions plan.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Review surveys/appraisals and address encroachments/violations.
