Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through our branch network. You will complete applications, analyze financial data, and coordinate with processing and underwriting to move loans forward.

This full-time role offers a commission-based pay structure with an annual earnings history ranging from about $20,000 to $100,000+ depending on location, performance, and production. NMLS registration and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in mortgage lending or real estate helpful; NMLS registration required.
• Strong sales and customer relationship skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departments.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicating progress and acquiring required documentation.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services and develops new business.
