Job summary

West Capital Lending in Phoenix seeks a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. You will gather and organize borrower documents, communicate with clients and partners, and help manage pipelines and disclosures.

Ideal candidates have mortgage/financial services experience, excellent organization, clear communication, and the ability to handle multiple files independently.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage or financial services experience required (LOA, Processor, Jr. Processor, or similar).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files at once.
• Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus.
• Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Officer throughout the loan origination process
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.)
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members
• Assist in managing pipelines, disclosures, and follow-up communication
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism
