Job summary

West Capital Lending is seeking a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. You will assist in origination processes, collect borrower documentation, and maintain clear communication with all parties involved.

Ideal candidates have mortgage/financial services experience, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple files independently. Familiarity with Encompass, Calyx, Arrive or similar LO software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage or financial services preferred (LOA, Processor, Jr. Processor, or similar).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear and professional communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files at once.
• Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus.
• Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Officer throughout the loan origination process.
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.).
• Communicate with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal team members.
• Assist in managing pipelines, disclosures, and follow-up communication.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.
