Job summary

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to assess financial documents and analyze creditworthiness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other loan processing software.
  • Loan Officer license (NMLS).

Responsibilities

  • Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness by reviewing financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on available loan products, terms, and eligibility requirements.
  • Process loan applications, including obtaining necessary documentation, verifying financial data, and ensuring accurate completion of all forms.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service throughout the loan process.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to explain loan options, repayment terms, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient loan approval process.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry regulations, loan policies, and market trends.
  • Monitor the progress of loan applications and assist clients with any questions or issues that arise.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals by promoting and closing loan products.
