Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage in the United States is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer to drive new business and manage the end-to-end loan process from application to closing.

You will build relationships with realtors, assess borrower needs, analyze finances, present loan options, and guide clients through disclosures and approvals, ensuring competitive rates and smooth closings across activities.

Responsibilities

• Sell mortgage loans to customers away from AnnieMac’s offices; in-office work is supplemental.
• Generate new business by building relationships with realtors, title/escrow officers, financial advisers, CPAs, and others.
• Attend closings, open houses, seminars, and other lead-generating activities.
• Take borrower information and fill out the loan application.
• Develop referral partner relationships to generate new customers.
• Analyze borrower income and debt to pre-qualify the maximum affordable mortgage.
• Counsel borrowers on home buying and financing options, including loan product differences and costs.
• Collect financial documents (tax returns, bank statements) for the application.
• Provide disclosures such as truth in lending and good faith estimate.
• Counsel and advise borrowers on clearing credit problems.
• Maintain regular contact with borrowers, realtors, and lender from application to closing.
