Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loan Officer to build strong client relationships, gather documentation, and guide borrowers through the loan process. You will explain mortgage products, gather 1003 data, and ensure compliant submissions for underwriting.

The role requires at least two years in mortgage lending, a valid NMLS license, and strong communication, organization, and service skills. Local travel and outside-branch meetings may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of mortgage lending or related experience preferred.
• NMLS license required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess financial goals and mortgage eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms and options.
• Assist clients with mortgage applications and document collection.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources and real estate partners.
• Coordinate with underwriters, processors and lenders to close loans.
