Job summary

MSGCU is seeking a Mortgage Consultant (Mortgage Loan Officer) to originate first mortgages, conduct pre-qualification interviews, prepare loan applications, and ensure documentation complies with policies and investor guidelines.

You will cultivate internal and external referral sources, collaborate with branch teams, and travel to strengthen relationships across our network while delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mortgage origination experience or relevant lending experience preferred.
• NMLS licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate first mortgages, conduct pre-qualification interviews, and prepare loan packages.
• Cultivate internal and external referral sources with branch teams, builders, and real estate agents.
• Provide timely mortgage updates and ensure compliance with MSGCU policies and regulations.
