Job summary

Community Bank, N.A. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Consultant to originate mortgage loans in accordance with bank policies and investor guidelines, while delivering superior customer service.

You will build relationships with area realtors and referral sources, educate borrowers on loan programs, and guide clients through the loan process from application to closing, ensuring timely funding and compliance.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree or equivalent preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Grow pipeline by networking and targeting realtors, builders, financial planners, and other referral sources.
• Close more deals by identifying customer needs and guiding clients through the loan process from application to closing.
• Educate customers on loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and market trends while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide personalized consultations in-office or at convenient locations for a seamless borrowing experience.
• Cross-sell other banking services, including deposit accounts, business banking, insurance, and wealth management.
• Oversee the loan application lifecycle, coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure timely funding.
• Stay informed of industry trends and local market conditions to position yourself as a trusted mortgage advisor.
• Represent the bank at local business and community events to build brand awareness.
• Maintain full compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
