Job summary

A mortgage lending company in Draper, UT is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing and prefers the financial aspects over sales. Responsibilities include setting up new files, researching loan options, and supporting Loan Officers with pre-approvals. Competitive salary and bonus potential range from $65,000 to $115,000 based on performance. An MLO license in Utah is required or must be obtained shortly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Loan Officer Assistant, or Mortgage Processor.
• Comfortable with basic loan programs and requirements.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and can pass standard background checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up new files and pre-approvals, pull credit, and review documentation.
• Research niche products for Loan Officers to present to clients.
• Help track preapprovals and referrals.
• Map out game plans for clients whose files don’t qualify.

Skills

Experience in mortgage loan processing

MLO License in Utah or willing to obtain
