Job summary
loanDepot, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Lending Officer to join our Direct Sales team in Michigan. You will handle high-volume online inquiries, assess client needs, and recommend optimal loan solutions across the country. No two days are alike as you guide borrowers through pre-qualification and the full loan process.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of mortgage origination experience in direct lending
- NMLS SAFE Act compliant with 5+ active state licenses
- Proven track record of top performance in similar models
- Willingness to commute to Southfield, MI; remote considered case-by-case
Responsibilities
- Licensed Lending Officers receive a high-volume lead flow of online customer contacts daily from our call center.
- Present loanDepot’s competitive edge, evaluate customer needs, and sell financial solutions to clients nationwide.
- Builds rapport, analyzes financial situations, and determines the appropriate loan product to meet client goals.
- Educates clients on mortgage management and debt.
- Assists clients through the loan process from application to closing.
- Maintains minimum production standards including originations and fundings.
