Job summary

Rate is seeking an Associate Vice President of Mortgage Lending to support one or more Vice Presidents with loan origination, client interaction, and growth strategy. You will handle applications, data entry in Encompass, and coordination with the Marketing Department to drive production.

You’ll manage the end-to-end process from application through closing, while ensuring accuracy, timely follow-up, and compelling service to borrowers and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage lending and GRI loan processes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with loan origination systems such as Encompass
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Take applications from VP clients in person or by phone and support origination activity
• Independently source and originate loans to generate opportunities
• Enter notes and ensure applications are complete for processing
• Prepare preapproval letters after qualification
• Coordinate with marketing to create materials for agents
• Monitor pipeline from application to closing and maintain client communications
• Track CDs and educate borrowers on terms and closing costs
