Job summary

GenoaBank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to serve as the customer’s primary contact for mortgage loans, refinances, and construction loans. You will process applications, obtain documents, and maintain strong customer relations while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires a 1–3 year banking background with sales experience. Office-based position at GenoaBank branches, with coverage during business hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or business preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in banking experience with an established background in sales.
• Specialized Knowledge: Bank products, interest and payment calculation; NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for mortgage loan customers and process loan applications with proper documentation.
• Clearly communicate rates and terms of GenoaBank and secondary market loans; lock rates as needed.
• Follow Federal Reserve compliance regulations and ensure timely closings; collaborate with mortgage processing.
