The position requires mortgage lending and sales experience, NMLS registration, and MS Office proficiency. It emphasizes proactive client outreach, timely processing, and compliant underwriting guidance.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma.
• Previous related mortgage lending or operations experience is preferred.
• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Pursuant to the SAFE Act, all Mortgage Originators must maintain NMLS registration.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Bank customers and non-customers regarding borrowing needs and terms.
• Make verbal and written commitments on behalf of the Bank for mortgage products.
• Oversee loan applications and disclosures within required timeframes.
• Analyze financial data to underwrite loans and recommend approval or rejection.
• Develop relationships with realtors and referral sources to grow business.
• Cross-sell other bank products and services to customers.
