Busey Bank is seeking a Mortgage Originator to develop new business and originate quality mortgage loans in line with bank policies. You will work with internal teams to cross-sell products and deepen customer relationships.

The role requires strong communication, sales and underwriting knowledge, plus proactive outreach to realtors and builders to expand the bank's mortgage footprint. Base pay reflects experience and market trends.

Formación

• High School diploma required; mortgage lending or operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and sales skills with ability to cross-sell.
• Knowledge of lending regulations and underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and work under time pressures.
• Proven closing skills and customer service excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with customers on borrowing needs and prepare mortgage applications.
• Negotiate terms, obtain documentation, and commit on behalf of the bank.
• Oversee pre-processing to provide disclosures within required timelines.
• Underwrite by analyzing financial data and recommend approvals.
• Develop relationships with realtors and referral sources to grow business.
