Job summary

Franklin Mint Group is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure the integrity of closed and purchased loan files and related document management systems. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and coordination with third-party QC providers.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree with 2+ years in financial services, including closing experience, and familiarity with mortgage origination software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of related financial services experience (including 1 year of closing experience)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive quality assurance review of prepared closing packages and purchased loan packages, reviewing for compliance and completeness.
• Maintains document management for the Loan Origination system and prepares for extraction of files for upload to the Servicing system.
• Follows up and clears post-closing deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with a third party quality control provider for review of random and targeted selections and takes corrective action when appropriate.
• Manages post-closing and quality control audits and monthly reporting.
• Prepares and reviews credit packages for inclusion in loan participations.
• Monitors, tracks, and organizes recorded mortgages and loan policies to ensure mortgage liens are perfected.
• Adheres to regulatory and policy requirements including BSA/OFAC to ensure safety and soundness.
