Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, seeks an experienced Default Analyst in Houston, TX. You will ensure adherence to work rules, goals, and timelines to improve tier rankings and end-of-month reporting accuracy.

You'll collaborate with default departments to code loans from a call perspective to events, establish a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in mortgage servicing.
• Experience with default reporting processes.
• BKFS Desktop Experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reporting milestones are accurate per compliance and guidelines.
• Establish/enhance default reporting procedures across teams.
• Validate monthly reporting before transmissions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve default reporting.
• Oversee internal audits and loan reviews related to defaults.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce risk.
• Follow department policies and adhere to procedures.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines, externally and internally.
