Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default Reporting & Analytics Analyst to ensure accurate and timely reporting for government programs. The role focuses on developing reporting and analytics around default reporting and requires strong data analysis, SQL skills, and loan servicing knowledge.

The position offers a remote schedule with the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Three+ years’ experience in multiple functional areas within loan servicing, preferably default.
• At least 1 year of data analysis and auditing large data sets for discrepancies.
• Strong working knowledge of loan servicing terminology and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis on issues and own resolution from identification to closure.
• Define exceptions and report requirements for accurate default reporting.
• Collaborate with default management on regulatory changes and data-process improvements.
• Validate and troubleshoot exception reports and default data for discrepancies.
• Perform data analyses to ensure accuracy before delivery to internal and external customers.
• Modify existing reports to meet ad-hoc business needs.
• Create and maintain up-to-date process documentation and job aids.
