Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default Reporting & Analytics Analyst to ensure accurate and timely reporting for government programs. This remote role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to develop reporting and analytics around default reporting.

You will work with loan servicing data, perform root-cause analyses, validate data, and prepare ad-hoc reports for internal and external customers. Strong Excel and SQL skills, plus experience in loan servicing, are desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in multiple functional areas within loan servicing.
• At least 1 year of data analysis and auditing large data sets.
• Strong working knowledge of loan servicing terminology.
• MS Excel proficiency and experience with data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis on issues and own resolution.
• Define report requirements to ensure accurate default reporting.
• Analyze processes with default management and recommend improvements.
• Validate and troubleshoot exception reports and data discrepancies.
• Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy before delivery.
• Alter existing reports for ad-hoc business needs.
• Create and maintain process documentation and procedures.
