Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, seeks an experienced Default Analyst in Englewood, CO to ensure accurate default reporting and month-end processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting quality and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with BKFS Desktop, Windows, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ Years Mortgage Servicing Experience Preferred
• BKFS Desktop experience preferred
• Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in First Line of Defense control implementation
• Leadership and knowledge of federal/state regulations
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work under pressure with professionalism
• Personal accountability

Responsibilities

• Ensure collection and loss mitigation milestones/timelines are reported correctly in accordance with statutory and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide guidance to the team by establishing and/or enhancing default reporting procedures in compliance with state, federal, Investor, Insurer, Agency, and Company guidelines.
• Achieve department goals by validating all default reporting by month end prior to end of month transmissions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive quality improvement in Default Reporting.
• Assist and/or oversee default-related projects, including internal audits and loan reviews.
• Provide recommendations to management on reporting process improvements to minimize risk.
• Follow departmental policies with strict adherence.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate resolutions for external and internal partners.
