Job summary

TEKsystems in Troy, MI is seeking a dedicated mortgage servicing customer service representative to handle 45-60 inbound calls daily, addressing payments, escrow, and insurance questions. You will document interactions across multiple systems and ensure compliance.

The role starts with on-site training for 45 days, then a hybrid setup with 3 days work-from-home and 2 days on-site in Troy, MI. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.50 per hour plus eligible benefits.

• Respond to mortgage servicing inquiries from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• Answer questions about mortgage payments, escrow, homeowners insurance, and related matters.
• Document interactions across multiple systems in line with company policies.
• Provide timely, accurate, and compliant service while meeting quality standards.
• Resolve issues using strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Navigate multiple applications while maintaining attention to detail and a positive customer experience.
• Communicate with borrowers, insurance providers, and financial institutions.
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 45-60 inbound customer calls per day, with call volume fluctuating based on business needs. Average call duration ranges from 2 to 7 minutes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming mortgage servicing inquiries from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• Respond to questions related to mortgage payments, escrow accounts, homeowners insurance coverage, and other servicing-related matters.
• Research customer inquiries across multiple systems and accurately document all interactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide timely, accurate, and professional service while meeting established quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
• Resolve customer concerns by utilizing strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify appropriate solutions.
• Navigate multiple applications simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering a positive customer experience.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including borrowers, insurance providers, and financial institutions.
• Ensure all customer interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to excellent service.
• On-site training for the first 45 days, afterwards set-up is Hybrid with 3 days WFH and 2 days on-site.
• Offices are located in Troy, MI and Daytona Beach, Florida

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
