Job summary

Ratehub, a Canadian fintech, is seeking a Content Strategist to grow its mortgage content presence and drive qualified organic traffic.

You’ll merge SEO, GEO, analytics, and AI search insights to identify opportunities, then translate expert knowledge into clear, consumer‑friendly content across blogs, landing pages, newsletters, and video scripts. Remote‑first with cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, SEO, digital publishing, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with ability to create engaging, informative content.
• Strong understanding of SEO, GEO and AI‑powered search and how to leverage them.
• Experience using analytics and SEO tools to analyze content performance and turn insights into actions.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS and managing email newsletters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a mortgage content calendar and prioritized backlog balancing evergreen content with timely opportunities.
• Write and produce content across formats: blog posts, landing pages, mortgage rate pages, social content, forum posts, and video scripts.
• Use data and performance insights to create copy addressing consumer search intent.
• Translate mortgage insights into clear, consumer-friendly content with SME input.
• Refresh and rewrite landing pages and French content in collaboration with translators.
• Use AI tools for research, ideation, analysis, and content generation while maintaining editorial standards.
