Job summary

Growth Marketing Pro is seeking a Content Manager, SEO to join our fully remote team. You will lead content initiatives across client projects, develop compelling content strategies, and execute SEO and GEO efforts to build authority and improve organic performance.

The role requires strong writing, project management, and collaboration with a distributed team. You will manage freelancers and partners, communicate progress to clients, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO/GEO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling.
• Knowledge of content and SEO best practices; able to create optimized outlines and metadata.
• Ability to adapt tone to brand voice and audience.
• Experience with keyword research, internal linking, and content briefs.
• Offsite SEO tactics: link building, digital PR/outreach, guest posts or syndication.
• Familiarity with AEO/GEO and AI-search measurement.
• Experience managing freelance writers, vendors, and dev partners.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, HubSpot or similar CRM.
• Knowledge of AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute client SEO, GEO and content strategies across multiple projects.
• Ensure content quality, brand voice, and adherence to guidelines.
• Collaborate with onboarding calls and client relationship-building.
• Communicate updates proactively to clients and internal teams.
• Incorporate client feedback and continuously learn.
• Stay current with industry trends and tools.
