Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, is seeking a Collections Specialist to provide world-class customer care and educate borrowers on hardship options. Location is onsite in Englewood, CO or Houston, TX with compensation of $22-$27 per hour plus experience-based bonus.

The role focuses on negotiating payment arrangements, preventing delinquencies, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Collections environment.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette with a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment arrangements to keep borrowers in their homes.
• Maintain open communication with borrowers after payments to prevent delinquencies.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate borrowers with outdated contact info.
• Manage inbound and outbound calling queues via automated systems.
• Continuously improve knowledge base to enhance customer experience.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
