Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, seeks a Collections Specialist to provide world-class customer care onsite in Houston, TX. You will negotiate payment arrangements and guide borrowers through hardship options to keep loans current.

The role requires at least 2 years in mortgage servicing and collections, with strong phone etiquette and customer service skills. Competitive benefits and a bonus program are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Collections environment.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment arrangements to keep loans current.
• Maintain open communication with borrowers after payment to reduce delinquencies.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate borrowers with outdated contact info.
• Manage inbound and outbound calling queues via automated systems.
• Continuously improve knowledge base to enhance customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
