Job summary

Cornerstone Servicing, a division of Cornerstone Capital Bank, seeks a Collections Specialist to deliver world‑class customer care, educate borrowers on hardship options, and manage payment arrangements to keep loans current. The role is onsite in Englewood, CO or Houston, TX with a compensation range based on experience.

You will handle skip tracing, inbound/outbound calls, and continuously improve the knowledge base to maximize customer satisfaction in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Collections environment.
• Bi-lingual skills a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette while having a passion for taking care of customer needs with exceptional customer service skills.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to exercise prudent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate payment arrangements to keep loans current.
• Maintain open communication after payment to preempt delinquencies.
• Use skip tracing tools to locate borrowers with outdated contact information.
• Manage inbound and outbound calling queues.
• Continuously improve knowledge base and skills to ensure world-class customer experience.
• Perform other job-duty related issues as assigned.
