Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Closer in the Des Moines metro area to manage the closing process and ensure mortgage transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.

The role requires 2+ years of mortgage experience, knowledge of title clearance and Closing Disclosures, and strong detail orientation. You will coordinate with lenders, title professionals, borrowers, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

2+ years of mortgage experience, including purchase or refinance transactions.
Experience with title clearance, Closing Disclosures, and closing documents.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Professional written and verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Word and Excel;experience with loan origination systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate mortgage closing packages in accordance with underwriting, investor, and compliance requirements.
Review and resolve title requirements prior to closing.
Coordinate closing timelines and communicate with lenders, title professionals, borrowers, and other parties.
Monitor contract deadlines and rate-lock expiration dates.
Ensure closing-related accounting entries are set up accurately.
Manage multiple transactions while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Assist with additional mortgage and operational duties as needed.
