Job summary

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Closer to handle mortgage loan closings in a fast-paced environment. You will work with the Closing Manager and a team to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of closing experience, knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA and Jumbo programs, and strong communication skills to coordinate with borrowers and agents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current experience as a mortgage loan closer with multiple loan products and investors.
• In-depth knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA and Jumbo programs and TRID requirements.
• Experience communicating with borrowers or third party vendors and obtaining cooperation.
• Strong PC skills, including mid-to-advanced Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with management, peers and third party service providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual pipeline to safeguard service levels, production, quality and compliance within the Closing Department.
• Reconcile/enter/update loan level information to prepare closing documents and verify required loan file documents.
• Verify the Closing Disclosure meets all federal and program guidelines.
• Ensure closings adhere to lock confirmation, loan approval and program guidelines.
• Facilitate accurate, timely mortgage loan closings and submit loans for funding.
