Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer for our WSFS Mortgage division. The role involves preparing and reviewing closing documents for mortgage home loans and collaborating with title companies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

The position is full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities to work in a collaborative, customer-focused environment supporting our communities across the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Previous mortgage processing or closing experience is preferred.
• Must have previous customer service experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements is strongly preferred.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to work under time constraints and have a proven track record of dependability and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions.
• Focus on mortgage assignment creation, including but not limited to creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting.
• Responsible for meeting strict closing deadlines.
