Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer to prepare and review closing documents for mortgage loans and coordinate with title companies. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, mortgage processing/closing experience, and solid customer service, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency in Windows and Office is expected.

The Mortgage Loan Closer will prepare and review critical closing documents for mortgage home loans and will be responsible for working closely with title companies to ensure all policies and procedures are maintained. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Loan Processors to ensure accuracy of documents and submissions. Focus on mortgage assignment creation, including but not limited to creating assignments, title searches, and understanding chain of title and vesting. Responsible for meeting strict closing deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required. Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Previous mortgage processing or closing experience is preferred. Must have previous customer service experience. Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements is strongly preferred. Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in using Windows and Microsoft Office products. Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment Must be able to work under time constraints and have a proven track record of dependability and attendance.

Salary Range: $42,289.00 - $69,475.00 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
