Job Overview

The Mortgage Banking Advisor will provide administrative and sales support to a team of Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs), facilitating communications between MLOs and customers and assisting with loan originations.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to set expectations around appointments, loan statuses, rate inquiries, and other information.
• Assist loan officers with loan originations.
• Confirm appointments and review documents with customers at the time of applications to ensure efficiency.
• Provide marketing support to MLOs and act as a liaison between customers and MLOs.
• Attend in-person loan closings at customers' homes or places of business and be willing to travel within Philadelphia, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to travel to different bank and customer locations for loan closings.
• Registration or ability to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
• Preferred: experience in residential mortgage originations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to resolve problems quickly, independently and make decisions within authority limits.

Compensation

Salary Range: $44,146

In addition to a base salary, the role is eligible to earn commissions based on individual production. Base pay may vary with experience, skills and location.
