Job summary

Utah Community Credit Union is seeking an experienced Mortgage Closings Specialist to manage the closing and funding of mortgages that are cleared to close. You will verify loan information, issue the Initial Closing Disclosure, and prepare closing documents for borrowers and settlement agents.

You will coordinate with title companies, review documents for accuracy, confirm underwriting conditions are met, wire funds, and assist members throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent mortgage industry training and experience.
• Three to five years of mortgage experience.
• Proficient in closing and funding government, construction, and conventional loans.
• Strong understanding of mortgage requirements, procedures, underwriting criteria, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the closing and funding process for mortgage loans cleared to close.
• Verify loan information and issue Initial Closing Disclosure.
• Prepare and deliver closing documents to borrowers and settlement agents.
• Coordinate with title company to finalize closing package and wire funds.
• Assure all underwriting conditions are satisfied and loan files are current.
• Assist members throughout the process and connect them with resources.
