Job summary

Knock is hiring a Closer/Funder to finalize residential loan transactions in a remote environment across the U.S. You will lead ICDs, resolve issues, and ensure funds transfer with precision to close deals on time.

You will review every detail, stay aligned with guidelines, and collaborate with Loan Officers and settlement teams to move deals forward while delivering a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent experience closing residential loans (cash-out refinance expertise = a huge plus!).
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment — juggling 50–60 closings per month.
• Detail-oriented and triple-checks work to ensure accuracy.
• Delivers a wow-worthy customer experience.
• Proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send accurate Initial Closing Disclosures (ICDs) to borrowers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve closing issues quickly, keeping the customer experience front and center.
• Execute transfer of lender funds so transactions close smoothly and on time.
• Review loan documents (sales price, loan amount, vesting, etc.) with rigor.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program guidelines.
• Partner with Loan Officers, Bridge Loan Specialists, Loan Assistants, and settlement teams.
• Audit signed closing packages to guarantee accuracy before funds are released.
• Own your pipeline — manage 50–60 loans per month with precision.
• Mentor, collaborate, and share knowledge within the team.
• Support your team on special projects as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

Compensation and Benefits

Our Compensation Philosophy: As a remote first fully remote (U.S.-based) workforce, our goal is to ensure that all Knockstars are fairly compensated. Please note that the base salary for this position is: $61,000- $66,000 USD + bonus.
