Job summary

Cenlar is seeking a Manager, Claims to oversee and direct the workflow in the Claims Department, ensuring timely conveyances, claim filing, and compliance with investor and insurer guidelines. You will lead staff, develop reports, and coordinate with attorneys and servicers to minimize losses.

The role requires managing claims risk, performance reviews, and adherence to federal and local laws related to mortgage defaults. Strong analytical and leadership abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years' experience in mortgage default operations preferred.
3-5 years of property preservation, REO and claims experience for FHA/VA/Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac loans preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor activity of loans in Claims.
Manage and adhere to investor guidelines and conveyance/claims requirements.
Review and approve vendor payments in a timely manner.
Oversight of outside vendors and performance improvement.
Ensure compliance with insurer, investor and master servicer rules and regulations.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports and staff performance reviews.
Collaborate with attorneys, insurers, PMI companies, investors and master servicers to expedite claims.
