Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 7 years mortgage banking or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage, consumer, auto and lease products.
• Familiarity with investor and regulatory guidelines.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex cash research and adjustments for multiple loan products.
• Post payments, payoffs, and reconcile ledgers.
• Balance GLs/DDAs for all product lines and clear outages.
• Supervise offshore quality controls and suggest procedure updates.
• Manage workflow and coordinate department tasks.
• Provide side-by-side training to staff.
• Process high volumes of daily cash exceptions (lockbox, ACH, etc.).
• Research and correct processing errors and missing payments.
• Resolve mortgage, consumer, and lease adjustment requests.
• Notify customers or banks of research results and actions taken.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce future issues.
• Waive up to $50 on payments and $250 on payoffs when appropriate.
