Job summary

LitFinancial is seeking an Associate Mortgage Banker to join our sales team in Troy, MI. You will be the first point of contact for prospective borrowers, handling high volumes of outbound calls, qualifying leads, and presenting mortgage options to move qualified prospects to Loan Officers.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, outcome-driven, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in customer service, call center or sales roles.
• Must have ability to pass the NMLS exam and obtain state and national licenses.
• Interest in mortgage or financial services industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
• Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and handling objections.
• Goal-oriented with drive to meet targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and quick learning of systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a high volume of outbound dials to new leads and inquiries.
• Qualify borrowers and gather preliminary information.
• Nurture leads through follow-up and relationship building.
• Document call notes and lead movements in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Banker team on strategy and campaigns.
• Communicate benefits of mortgage products to clients.
• Ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads to Loan Officers.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly call quotas.
