Job summary

Citizens State Bank in New Castle, IN seeks a Commercial Loan Processor to support the relationship management team by handling loan processing from approval through closing, prep docs, and lien perfection.

You will coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal teams, ensuring timely funding, accurate documentation, and compliance with CIP/KYC, flood, Reg O, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial loan processing, loan operations or loan closing.
• Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateral.
• Ability to interpret credit approvals and loan structures.
• Knowledge of bank products and services.
• Strong organizational abilities for managing client documentation and scheduling meetings.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process commercial loans from credit approval through closing and funding.
• Review loan documents to reflect approved terms and ensure lien perfection.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, borrowers, attorneys, and title companies to meet closing timelines.
• Order and track third-party items (title, flood, appraisals, environmental reports).
• Support audits, loan reviews, and internal reporting.
• Manage multiple loans simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Assist in onboarding new clients and manage calendars for bankers.
• Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
