Junior Loan Processor - Records Management

Primary Function:Responsible for performing a variety of duties in the lending area. Maintains and updates files, researches and resolves record-keeping errors and discrepancies. Completes assigned reports and special projects, works audit requests and provides assistance to management as needed.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assemble loan documentation for residential, commercial, and consumer loans.
- Track recorded documents, ensure recorded documents are imaged in file.
- Scan daily and historical documents and records to image system.
- Manage supplies for the department.
- Manage correct allocation of original notes, to branches and to filing.
- Upload completed mortgage files from PCLender to CenterDoc.
- Track Insurance files for all loan types. Maintain a log of expired/cancellation notices and follow up with agent/customer/lender.
- Handle all aspects of the insurance product claims. Reconcile all insurance invoices monthly; including GAP, Warranty and Credit Life and Disability insurance and would include any future insurance products added. Will work to resolve any customer problems beyond the authority of other personnel concerning insurance products.
- Monthly, run reports on both Citizenline and Equityline account maturing within 90 days. Notify the lender/send application packets to customers.
- Collect Data Request, assist auditors, upload all audit files.
- Process paid loans - discharge mortgages/lien releases/ucc termination.
- RD-108 and final title policy tracking.
- Upload construction loan documents after loan closes.
- Process all incoming appraisals for new loans.
- Prepare application packages.
- Maintain life insurance verifications on tickler system.
- Attend training to remain current on all investor, PMI, appraisal, and corporate requirements.
- Request verbal verification of employment.
- Payoffs, incoming funds, wire processing.
- Provide additional support for department processing as needed and other duties as assigned including special projects as assigned.
- Evaluate departmental processes and procedures and recommend improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of bank products and services and cross-sell as appropriate.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures, including specifically Citizens National Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policy and procedures, and its Customer Identification Program.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance, personal appearance, punctuality and adherence to applicable health and safety procedures.
Establish and maintain efficient working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
Deliver documents to county building for recording as necessary.
Scan work to image filing.
Escalate any fraud files to Loan Operations Manager.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma
- One to two years banking experience preferred
- Understanding of loan products and services
- Able to lift 10-15 pounds for moving loan files/boxes.
