Job summary

Prosperity Bank is seeking a Mortgage Accounting Admin to join the Mortgage Operations team in Plano, TX. This full-time role supports residential loans, MSRs, and related GL accounts, reporting to the SVP Mortgage Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, posting 1st payments, data entry for funding wires, mortgage expense submissions, and maintaining loan records. 2+ years mortgage or accounting experience and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with a 2-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years mortgage and/or accounting experience preferred.
• Must maintain attention and concentration for extended periods and be detail oriented.
• Ability to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process daily/weekly deposits (title checks).
• Manage 1st payments due to Prosperity Bank.
• Data entry - all funding wire GL entries.
• Manage mortgage expense reports/submissions.
• Process A/P for the mortgage department.
• Assist with tracking appraisal funds and payments.
• Scanning.
• Filing.
• Manage mortgage DDA accounts.
• Research loan related issues.
