The Mortgage Accountant works as part of the finance and accounting mortgage team, reporting directly to the SVP Mortgage Accounting Manager, performing various accounting and control functions dealing with residential loans purchased and originated for sale and for investment, loan purchase commitments, mortgage servicing rights (MSRs), and short-term financing associated with these activities. This position maintains and reconciles related loan, MSR, MLO commissions, other general ledger accounts.
High school diploma/GED plus 2-year degree preferred
2+ years mortgage accounting experience preferred

Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
