Job summary

MSHDA is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the agency’s single family mortgage loan portfolio in Michigan. The role will assist staff by preparing discharge of mortgagees, reconciling monthly mortgage activity, monitoring delinquent loans, and handling REO/foreclosure processing as directed.

All work must be performed in Michigan, and relocation is required if currently outside the state. Competitive candidates will display strong organizational, financial/accounting and analytical

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with WORD and Excel preferred.
