Job summary

Smb T in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor to handle all loan processing functions and support Loan Officers with related tasks. You will label documents, track appraisals, and ensure timely file movement.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication, typing, and basic math skills. Banking or loan experience is helpful, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good typing skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Label documents and organize into proper folders.
• Request appraisal and title work and track for timely return.
• Analyze income and asset documents to support processing and underwriting times.
• Review loan documents to ensure completion for underwriting.
• Assist with adverse action notices, denials, and re-disclosures.
• Support originators with pipeline management to avoid delays.
• Prepare pipeline reports for meetings to ensure accuracy.
• Order items when processor is out to keep files moving.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
