MSHDA seeks an Accounting Technician. The position will maintain and reconcile financial documents on a monthly basis to MSHDA’s accounting system, complete complex journal vouchers, and prepare financial schedules for MSHDA’s annual audit.
Competitive candidates for this position will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to interpret financial data, complete bookkeeping and accounting procedures, practices, methods, and techniques. Possess the ability to analyze and recommend improvements in accounting Systems.
There is a possibility of a remote/hybrid schedule based on performance and operational need. However, all work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
